We also want to show just how creative God is in the process.
He made every single one of us individually, and we're all inspired by one another. Think about how culturally different it is to express yourself musically. It's absolutely amazing.
In recognizing our differences, we recognize the creativity of God.
He didn't simply press copy and paste when He made people.
He intentionally created every person.
The tones we hear in worship in Africa are different from the tones we hear in Latin America. Those are different from the sounds we hear in North America, and different again from the music we hear throughout Asia.
Every culture reflects something unique about the creativity of God.
I believe everyone is creative.
We simply express that creativity in different ways.
God gave humanity the ability to sing, to make music, to harmonize to create every sound, every genre, every form of musical expression we can imagine.
But so much of that isn't being showcased.
By intentionally building that bridge, I hope it brings a sense of community to Christians all over the world, a community they can be proud of because they see just how vibrant, rich, and beautiful it truly is.
Even more than that, I hope it deepens their appreciation for the God they serve.
The more we highlight diversity, creativity, and cultures that often go unnoticed, the more we begin to see the beauty of God reflected in humanity.
The world comes alive.
If you find yourself struggling to embrace the uniqueness you've been told you have as a child of God, then reach for something that's going to show you just how creative and unique it is to belong to the Kingdom of God.
You'll see it in the community around the world.
You'll experience the uniqueness of our Latin brothers and sisters, our Native American brothers and sisters, and every other culture that praises Him.
You'll hear it in hymns, in spirituals, in African praise music, in classical music, in contemporary worship, in rap, in soul, in funk, in disco; in every musical language and every form of creativity.
God shows up in all of it. And He deserves to be praised.
The more your appetite for God grows, the more joy you'll find in hearing other people praise Him.
It's not enough for me anymore to only hear the genre I naturally gravitate toward.
I've become so captivated by the God I serve that I want to hear every single creature praise Him.
I hope one day I walk into the woods and hear wolves, frogs, and swans.
I hope I hear worms.
I hope I hear the rocks, because the Bible says even the rocks cry out in praise.
Every creature has a sound.
Every creature has a sound because He made every creature uniquely.
Every creature has a sound, and every creature will use its voice to praise Him.
So let's hear it.
Let's explore it.
What does that sound like?
I want to hear it because it's going to be beautiful.
It's going to be glorious.
